Located at Tavanur in Malappuram district, “Kelappaji's House” is an important historical monument associated with K. Kelappan, popularly known as Kerala Gandhi. This house, which was a center of freedom struggle and philanthropic activities, is situated in the premises of Kelapaji College of Agricultural Engineering (KCAET), Tavanur.

During Kelappan's stay at Tavanur, many political, social and social discussions took place in this house. The state government has taken steps to protect this house as a historical monument which is closely related to the history of freedom struggle in Kerala. The government had also sanctioned financial assistance for the renovation of the house.

Renovations have been done while maintaining the traditional style. Plans were also announced to convert the house into a museum and library in the future.

Kelapaji has a crucial place in the history of the national movement of Tavanur. He played an important role in developing national consciousness in Tavanur during the freedom struggle.
