The vision of Tavanur Grama Panchayat is to become a green, hygienic and self-sufficient village by ensuring comprehensive development and people's welfare. The main objective is to improve the quality of life of the people by providing good facilities in basic areas such as drinking water, housing, health, education and agricultural development.

The mission of the panchayat is to effectively implement the projects Haritha Keralam, Aardram, LIFE and Pooja Vidyabhyaasa Samrakshana Yajna, which are part of the Nava Kerala Mission, to ensure social justice, environmental protection, women's empowerment, agricultural progress and welfare activities.

Child protection, elderly and disabled welfare activities and women's employment initiatives have been strengthened through Kudumbashree. Tavanur Grama Panchayat is moving forward with comprehensive plans to implement the remaining infrastructure development and people's welfare activities of the panchayat more effectively.
